Adventures in Plant-Based Cooking

 Are you ready for some new ideas for your kitchen creations?  Do you have an interest in cooking in a more sustainable, healthful way?  Would you like to lighten your carbon footprint while eating delicious, satisfying, meals?  Then you should sign up for this culinary class and learn about plant-based cooking. 

On March 1st, from 10 am- 1 pm, instructor Cherry Edwards will lead a cooking class at the Aromas Grange that will teach participants how to select, prepare, and enjoy plant-based foods.  Her extensive experience in the culinary arts and teaching will reveal techniques, creative ideas, and tips for how to successfully prepare a meal of plant-based foods.

This is a hands-on class where everyone will help prepare the meal and then sit down and dine together.  Recipes and meal preparation tips along with additional resources for sustainable eating will be provided.


Cost for this class is $40 per person and includes recipes, supplemental information, and the meal.  This class is appropriate for ages 13 and older.  Registration is limited to the first 20 paid registrants.  We will establish a waiting list.  If you have any food allergies, please inquire to see if the menu is suitable for you.
